director's commentary

this animation was intended to be a kind of return to form for soi animatica.

i noticed that the direction i was taking the channel in had shifted pretty drastically since the release of BAdWorld and while i didn't dislike the new direction, i missed the simpler goofiness of early videos like oozeboy.

i think bingus and dingus turned out well in that regard; it has a certain austerity - there's no overly busy environments, and the song itself is far from complex.
