director's commentary

this animation was partly inspired by my vitriolic hatred of butcher butcher.
for some reason i just can't get over how much i dislike that video.
it's anathema.

they both start off with the same premise: walking through a *spooky* hallway only to be confronted by a door that must be opened. here the two split, and HUngRy subverts the expected in an attempt to spoof butcher.

however HUngRy was mostly intended as a silly little thank you to everyone who has provided me with love and support in the years around the Soi Animatica project. whether that be my real life friends who have taken me out on the town and away from my crypt of sorrow (bedroom), or the cool people online who have been cheering me on all the while (like you!).

so yeah!
