this video is probably how you were introduced to me.

it was featured on an episode of the internet show
Good Mythical Morning.

i remember the day it happened i was visiting my grandfather who lived many many hours away.
i began recieving notifications from all the people leaving comments super early in the morning when i was on the coach with a terrible internet connection.

it wasn't until i arrived home around 10 hours later that i was actually able to see the video; before then i had a friend watch it for me and summarize what happened.

also, people are often confused by the line describing the "fostering [of] marketplace efficiency" as a bad thing. this episode was written around the peak of the early 2020s NFT craze, "marketplace efficiency" was something stupid i saw tech-bros throwing around a lot to justify what they were doing. fuck NFTs.
